Dear Old Morganian,
At a joint meeting of the committees of the Association and the Society held on 30th January 2012, the final decisions were made to facilitate the amalgamation of the two groups to form “Old Morganians”, bringing together all Dr. Morgan’s Old Boys . I would like to take this opportunity of thanking the officers and committee members from both groups for all that has been done in the past to bring Old Morganians together and for the cooperation in bringing about the amalgamation.
On this revised website is a Membership Application Form for joining the ‘Old Morganians’ at the relevant subscription charge for the current year. The form also gives you the opportunity to book for this year’s dinner at the total cost including membership as shown.
The 2015 dinner was the last we were able to hold at The Tudor Restaurant and the 2016 dinner was a great success at the Bridgwater and Albion Rugby Club with Windsor Catering as the caterers. Pictures of that event are now in the picture gallery on this website.
The 2017 OM’s dinner will be at Wembdon Green (the brand new Wembdon Village Hall) when our caterers will again be Windsor Catering. The speaker is yet to be decided. Please see “2017 Dinner” below for the relevant membership and dinner booking forms, and the Menu Choices form which must be filled in and returned to Mike Dodden before 1st September 2017.
NB. Information on both Bernard Storer and Harold Palmer follows the list of 2016 dinner attendees shown with the 2017 booking forms.”
Dinner 2017 – 23rd September 2017
Note that this will again be a Special Celebration (80 years of the Durleigh Road buildings). See the letter and booking forms under both ‘Membership Application Form’ and ‘Dinner Booking Form’ and Menu choices which MUST be filled in in advance, by 1st September 2017 latest.
